We are looking for a Family Camp Coordinator to organise Family Camp in the future. For more information, please contact Rev. Johann Eloff on 0405 364 361.

* MCRC Bible Story Telling Seminar (14-17 April 2017)

Bible Story Training will take place over the Easter Weekend (14-17 April) and will include training from the Easter Song and Story Workshop. Please save the date! More information will be provided closer to the date.

Please contact Francois van der Walt on vunderbolt@gmail.com if you would like to attend or have any questions.

* Biblical Feast (Saturday, 3 June 2017 at 6pm)
Mansfield is holding a Biblical Feast on 3 June 2017 at 6pm, and in order to make this fundraiser a success, we will need the assistance of the entire congregation.

Please read through the
information sheet, and let us know where you would be able to assist.

Please note that the Convenors and Hostesses will meet in the conference room at the Manse at 11am on 26 March 2017.

Please contact Lynette de Jager on 0404 641 966 for more information.

* Volunteer Vacancy: Young Adults Ministry Leader

As a church we give thanks to God that in recent times Mansfield has experienced growth in attendance and interest by young adults in the 17-30 years’ age group (students and young working adults). In response to this growth, the leadership of the church has identified the need for a Young Adults Ministry Leader to be appointed, in order to encourage & strengthen our young adult members in their walk of faith.

To fill this volunteer role, we are seeking someone who loves Christ and who is passionate to see young adults grow in their love for Christ through regular fellowship with one another and with the rest of Christ’s body, the Church.

Please prayerfully consider if God has put it on your heart to lead the Young Adults Ministry. To help you transition into this volunteer role, you will be supported by Rev. Obee and youth coordinator Marike de Waard.

To indicate your interest or for any questions, please contact Rev. Gerhard (Obee) Oberholzer at obee@mansfield-crc.com or on 0430 496 292.

We would love to hear from you!

G.O.S.P.E.L. Prayer Points for March

  1. Gospel workers and leaders from the northern clusters praise God for three seminars that were held for women. Nearly 700 women participated and were blessed through these seminars.
  1. Narmada cluster workers praise God for 30 new believers who are ready for baptism. Kindly pray for these believers that they will continue to be clearly taught by the word of God and nurtured in the fellowship of believers.
  1. Our Gospel worker Harish Shankar is facing opposition from anti Christians and local police. He was threatened by the local police that his life would be in danger if he continues to preach the Gospel in his village.
  1. Badwani cluster leaders and evangelists are planning to arrange a Gospel Rally on 30th and 31st March at Tencha village. They are expecting 1,500 people from their cluster. Kindly pray for the arrangements and God’s blessing on this meeting.
  1. Dharamchand our Gospel worker from Udaipur cluster praises God 22 new believers at Kolhiari village.  Kindly pray for the new believers to grow in Christian faith. There are forty new believers who are ready for baptism in Udaipur cluster. The cluster leader and workers are finding difficulty to carry out the baptism program because of anti-Christian fundamentals.
